Joshua Rieskamp, Class of 2011

Josh graduated from Elder High School and is a member of the Centre class of 2015. Josh plans on double majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience and English at Centre. In high school, Josh was a member of the National Honor Society, Elder Student Ambassadors, and Elder Honors Program, and was a peer tutor. Josh was a senior co-captain of the cross country team and earned Academic All-Ohio. He also earned 4 varsity letters in track and field. Josh wrote for the school newspaper and wrote a poem to the memory of an Elder teacher which was dedicated on a plaque as the class gift from the Elder class of 2011. Josh is an AP Scholar with Distinction, a National Merit Commended Student, and recipient of the Reverend Ralph C. Bange Award for outstanding use of talent in and out of the classroom. Josh currently runs for Centre's cross country team and plans on participating in track and field. Josh is proud to be a part of the Brown Fellows Program and looks forward to the next four years.
