Katie Roland, Class of 2011

Katie is a first year student at Centre College. Born in Minneapolis, MN, she has lived most of her life in Nashville, TN. In high school, she worked in a lab at Vanderbilt University on determining the mitochondrial diversity of the wild carrot. She hopes to continue doing scientific research.
