Ethan Tomlinson, Class of 2011

Ethan Tomlinson graduated from Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky, having taken AP courses and Honors courses exclusively during his high school career. Ethan graduated with a 4.0 GPA, numerous awards from Saint Xavier High School and the Saint Xavier Alumni Association, and fond memories of a valuable and enjoyable high school experience. At Saint Xavier, Ethan was involved in the drama program and the Tiger Chorus from freshman through senior year. Also, he participated in the Ryken Service Club, Environmental Club, Social Justice Club, and the Campus Ministry department as a whole, participating in the Junior Christian Awakening Retreat and then leading the retreat as a senior. Ethan was a member of Saint Xavier’s chapter of the National Honors Society and served the community through this organization as well as the traveling acting troupe eXpress and the St. Joseph of Arimathea Society. Ethan was a Kentucky Governor’s Scholar, recognized as an AP Scholar, featured in an issue of Business First, and awarded a scholarship from the Louisville Rotary Club. At the University of Louisville, Ethan is involved in intramurals, the Honors program, SOUL, Freshman LEAD, Task Force Freshman, and he is the Vice President of the Spanish Club. He plans to double major in biology and Spanish with a minor in history and to attend medical school, following his undergraduate education.
