Leah Dahline, Class of 2009

University: University of Louisville

Leah Dahline, who graduated from at Corydon Central High School, plans to major in mathematics and Spanish. She was a member of the National Honor Society for three years and served as secretary during her senior year. Leah was Student Council class president in grades 9, 10, and 12 and served on the Principal Student Advisory Council for three years. She competed on her school's varsity swimming and diving team for three years, where she was an all-conference and sectional finalist for two years and team captain for one year. She also played on the football and dodge ball intramural teams. She teaches piano lessons and has worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Her community activities include being an ambassador for NCAA Stay in Bounds, a youth development program that addresses character and sportsmanship, and being active in her church community.
