Andrew Howard, Class of 2009

James Howard plans to pursue the pre-medicine track at Centre College while concentrating on his interests in education and political science. He attended Western Hills High School in Frankfort, where he was recognized as a Governor’s Scholar and a National AP scholar. His other honors include being the winner of the All-American Scholar Award as well as being selected to be a Commonwealth Ambassador. James was the president of his high school’s Beta Club and a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Additionally, he also was First Team Academic All State in varsity sports for his participation in tennis where he was the tournament’s top seed and defending champion.
